Impression: Immortal Regis is the story of Jae Hyuk, a young boy whose only remaining relative is his sickly brother who he treasures very much. One day he gets dragged into a battle involving demons and monsters from the other realm and dies because of it. He is revived by a demon girl named Serin and is made to be her undead servant. He is taken to the other realm where he has to become stronger so he can live in the human world once more. Regis is Korean for King and the much of the focus is given to the an infamous Undead Regis of the past and the disasters he brought with him and also on the candidates for the currently empty throne. The story is good but things happen like there’s no tomorrow(I’m not even sure if the story lasted a day in the manga) and there are way too many characters so it’s very hard to keep up with who’s who and why they’re doing what they do.
