Manga Review: Toradora

Title: Toradora
Author: Takemiya Yuyuko, Zekkyou
Release: Monthly
Status: Ongoing
Genre: Slice of Life, Romance
Art: B
Originality: B
Story: S
Characters: S
Humor: A
Action: B

Impression: This is the story of Aisaka Taiga and Takasu Ryuuji and their infatuations with each other’s respective best friends. Ryuuji makes a deal with her to help her out with daily activities in addition to capturing her target and she promises to do the same for him with her best friend. It’s quite a nice little story based on a series of light novels and also has an anime based on them too. There are some things that the manga does better than the anime but I prefer anime since the director did a great job on it. I can tell you that the story ended quite nicely so you can expect the same of the manga when it finally ends. I recommend the story but it might better for you to check out the anime since it’s going to be a long while before the manga reaches the conclusion.
