Impression: This is a manga adaptation of an anime I absolutely love that was made a few years back. IT tells the story of three teenagers who slowly discover the other realm where spirits live through out of body experiences that they experience when they go to sleep. As implied by the title, the manga isn’t a straightforward adaptation of the anime but rather an alternate retelling with a slightly different storyline. The anime was simply amazing with its deep characters and fascinating take on the supernatural world but ended on a rushed note putting a damper on what could have been a masterpiece. The seems to be heading down the path of a shonen manga so it’s not going to turn out as well as the anime did. Most of the original concepts are still there though so it’s probably worth taking a look at.
