Impression: This is about a young man who finally gets his chance to carry out his clan’s duty of taming spirits called Inukami after having failed disastrously during his youth but ends up pairing up with one of the most troublesome of the Inukami out there. I like the art of this manga but I just can’t come to like the main character’s design. Something about the guy’s appearance just annoys for some reason and then there’s also the many instances of eyecancer provided by the guy which doesn’t really help his case. This manga has a decent set of characters but some of their interactions do seem a bit dumb at times. I’ve never watched the anime but my friends recommended it to me and from what I understand, the manga is a little bit different from the anime. Still, regardless of how significant these differences are I will say that Inukami is a nice comedy manga.
