Title: Cahe Detective Club

Genre: Slice of Life, Comedy
Art: B
Originality: B
Story: B
Characters: A
Humor: B
Action: B

Impression: This is the story of five girls who are form a cafe club that has elements of the clubs each of them originally wanted to form. What happens in the first chapter is that all five of them wanted to form their own clubs but there was only one spot left open so they all went hunting for four other members to form their respective clubs first but in the end the main character tricks them all into forming a cafe club with her as the leader. I gotta say this is a nice breath of fresh air coming from the author of Nagasarete Airantou. Airantou has been getting a bit stale lately and I'd been hoping that he'd wrap it up soon but getting a new series from him is just as good. This particular mangaka knows how to come up with great characters and there's no better way to utilize that strength than to have them in a slice-of-life manga. I love these sorts of manga because they're pretty funny most of the time and while the humor may not be the best out there, the characters certainly show a lot of promise for future chapters. If you like these sort of manga as much as I do then this is one that you'd want to keep an eye on.
