Impression: This story is about a boy and a probable cross-dressing boy and how they gradually get to know each other. Unlike most gender bender stories where we know for sure that one of the main characters is not actually their stated gender, this one keeps us in the dark by bringing up the twist of the premise; whether or not Kizuna is a wholesome crossdressing boy or perfectly normal girl with extremely intimate knowledge of boys claiming to be one. The other main character, Maki, confronts Kizuna about this right from the first chapter and is constantly trying to figure out whether or not he’s gay or plain straight. It’s a fun read as we’re never given definite proof on what the answer is so readers are left trying to figure out which is truth. There’s plenty of jokes brought about by this mystery and they all hit their marks so I do recommend this to people who’d like to test their trap detecting abilities – I’ve already made my guess as to the answer.
